Dreams On Command (DOC) is a contemporary gallery dedicated to work that challenges systems, takes a position, and exposes the absurdities of contemporary life.
Some pieces may confront. Some may comfort. Others may provoke or unsettle. What matters here is vision, conviction, and honesty to the voice of the artist.
DOC presents artists from New York and across the United States whose practices engage with culture, identity, labor, politics, and the human experience.
Whether through photography, painting, sculpture, or video, we believe art was never meant to be scrolled through mindlessly only to be forgotten - nor was it meant to be generated by prompts. Our goal is to preserve the integrity of the human artist and the in-person experience, inviting you to slow down, feel, and resonate with the work in its tangible form.
